Azulejos Collection: Hot Pads (Limited Stock)

Protect your kitchen in style with a decorative cork trivet (hot pad). We were inspired to design the patterns in the Azulejos collection based on traditional Portuguese ceramic tiles.

Both sizes of the trivets can be hung using the attached rope handle, making them part of functional decor. Cork is a natural insulator making it the perfect material for hot pads! You can set a hot pot or pan directly on the cork without damaging or discoloring the natural surface. In addition, the cork will contain the heat, preventing the heat from reaching your countertop or table! 

Ornamental ceramic tiles have a storied history in Portugal. These tiles, called Azulejos, were influenced by Middle Eastern design and Portugal's proud history as seafarers. Traditionally azulejos are blue and white glazed ceramic tiles.
