Platon Moisture Barrier is a dimpled HDPE membrane designed to protect finished flooring systems from moisture damage in basements, below-grade applications, and installations over concrete slabs. The dimpled profile creates an air gap between the concrete and the finished floor, allowing the concrete to breathe while forming an impermeable barrier that keeps moisture from reaching the flooring above. Installing a moisture barrier is strongly recommended before laying cork flooring or any other finished flooring system over concrete or in below-grade locations where moisture control is critical. Rugged HDPE construction makes this a long-lasting, reliable solution for both residential and commercial projects. Easy to install directly on concrete with no special tools or preparation required. Each roll measures 50ft (15.24m) in length and 3.71ft (1.13m) in width, with a dimple height of 6mm (¼in), and covers approximately 175 sq ft per roll.
